- 03Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC — independent): same prerequisites plus a 40-hour course and 5 years of documented experience in an allied field (or a relevant degree); $500/year license fee.
- 04Both tiers require $1,000,000 commercial general liability insurance and affiliation with a TDLR-licensed Texas firm.
- 05TDLR exam pass rates: ~51% (MAT) and ~45% (MAC) — preparation courses are widely available.
- 062-year license renewal with 8 continuing education hours required.
